FTSE ST Small Cap Index

The FTSE ST Small Cap Index ended the month in negative territory in May down 0.98 per cent, although outperforming the FTSE ST All-Share Index by 1.57 per cent.

Year to date the FTSE ST Small Cap Index performance is up by 1.21 per cent, with a volatility of 7.33 per cent, lower than 2014’s volatility of 7.56 per cent.

Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology had the best sector performance in the FTSE ST Small Cap Index in May, up 22.73 per cent.
