FTSE ST Mid Cap Index

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index ended the month in negative territory in May down 2.25 per cent, although outperforming the FTSE ST All-Share Index by 0.30 per cent.

Year to date the FTSE ST Mid Cap Index performance is up by 4.66 per cent, with a volatility of 6.52 per cent, lower than 2014’s volatility of 6.69 per cent.

Health Care Equipment & Services had the best sector performance in the FTSE ST Mid Cap Index in May, up 5.18 per cent.
