| STI Top Performer for May 2015 - Hongkong Land Holdings |
Hongkong Land Holdings rose 8.4% m-m in May as the top performers in STI. Hongkong Land China Holdings Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hongkong Land Holdings, has signed an agreement with CIFI Holdings on 18 May to jointly develop a large-scale prime mixed-use property project in Lujiazui, Pudong New District, Shanghai. The project is scheduled to be completed in phases between 2017 and 2018. The total investment in the project is estimated to be RMB 7.3 billion and will be financed by internal resources and bank loans of the two joint venture partners. Several investment houses have also raised the target price of Hongkong Land Holdings in May.
